Wonderful Wednesdays in Room 122

It was another great day in our classroom. Everyone had a jam packed schedule but we were all able to have a great time. Because the weather was so nice today, the whole class went outside and played on the jungle gym. After the relaxing time outside we came inside for discrete trial, psychical and occupational therapy. The whole then went on to the art room and had a GREAT time working with paint.(Don't worry I made sure none of their clothes got dirty!) With regards to their artwork I am going to be setting up a little art show of their work, so that you and your friends and family and the community can come and see it while enjoying some coffee and cake. Please let me know if you have any problems with that idea, as I will not do anything you are not comfortable with. We ended the day with some sing-a-long songs and a nice yummy snack.

Classroom 122 at the Zoo!!

Everyone had a BLAST at the zoo today!! We had an awesome time looking at all of the different animals that were at the zoo. We actually got to pet a baby kangaroo, which all of the kids loved. Our class was lucky enough to have our own tour guide that took us around the zoo and let us see the animals closer then anyone else. We were also lucky enough that the Zoo was nice enough to give us free passes to ride the carousel two times which was a nice little break from walking around.  We were also able to ride the Zoo's train which some of the students loved so much that they were able to ride it as many times as they wanted. Each student was given a little goodie bag by the the Zoo with a stuffed animal and T-shirt which I thought was nice of them. I will hopefully have pictures up shortly so that you can see you child enjoy themselves at the Zoo.



Oh boy was it a BLAST!! The students got to choose what type of animal they wanted to sit on. It took awhile to decide but we were able to choose.



Some of the students even pretended to be the train conductor which was absolutely adorable. Some of the kids were very commutative today, which I absolutely loved!!



Happenings in Classroom 122

Today in class we had GREAT DAY even though we had a busy schedule. We did our morning sing-a-longs where everyone had a great time. We were all up singing and dancing, then we went on to gym with the other kindergartners. After gym we started discrete trail for an hour and had no problems at all which is great!! After discrete trail some of the students went onto speech and some went on to occupational therapy. I got a report from both therapists that all of the students did a fantastic job, with no outbursts AT ALL!!! After all of the hard work they did we had some free time where they were able to use the computer, iPad, listen to music, or do anything that they wanted. I am so proud of your kids, they were all so amazing today and I know that we will have a GREAT rest of the week. Remember we are going to the Turtle Back Zoo tomorrow! Please remember to pack a bagged lunch for your child.
